You cannot move your building, and you cannot choose where a customer is standing when they search. Everything else that decides whether they call you is in your hands - and every bit of it can be won today.
This account shows you where you stand against every competitor in your market, measured from Google itself, and what to do next. Use it every day; it is built to keep score.
When a customer searches for your trade, Google shows three businesses on the map above everything else - the map pack - and most calls go to those three. Google chooses them on three things. One is out of your hands. Two are yours.
The number of Google reviews you hold and the stars behind them are the strongest signal Google names for how established a business is. Every review counts, old ones included - and you earn them one job at a time.
Your Business Profile category, your services, your photos and a website that answers the questions customers ask. Google - and now AI assistants - match searches against them.
The next customer reads your replies before they call. A calm, specific reply to a bad review wins more trust than the review costs.
Distance decides some searches no matter what anyone does. Don't spend energy there - the report tells you which searches distance decides, so you can put your effort where it pays.
A win is a new five-star review, a thoughtful reply, a fix on your listing. Every one of them can happen today.
When the problem is solved and the customer is relieved - not a week later. Every customer, every job, by every driver or technician.
A text with your direct Google review link, before you leave. "Look us up" gets forgotten; a link gets tapped.
Thank the good ones by name. Answer a bad one calmly and offer to make it right.
Open the Leaderboard: your This week number, your rank, and who is gaining on you.
Play by Google's rules. Never pay or discount for a review, never ask only the happy customers, never post one yourself. Google removes those reviews and can suspend the listing - and a suspended listing wins nothing.
One review is a win. A review every day is a strategy. Your pace - new reviews a week - is how fast your total grows, and your total is what closes the gap on the businesses above you.
Your monthly report shows, for each search, the reviews it takes to pass the weakest business in the top three - and the week you get there at your current pace. Double the pace and the date comes twice as fast.
The chart on Your company is your review count week by week. A rising line is your system working; the Per week column on the Leaderboard shows whether you are outworking the market.
We never promise #1 - distance and a competitor's head start are real. We show you exactly what it takes, and we measure every step toward it.
Every business of your trade in your market - the ones a nearby customer could call instead - side by side. The four figures at the top describe the whole market: listings, total Google reviews, new reviews this week (and how many businesses earned one), and the average rating.
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| # | Your position in the market by total Google reviews - the order the table opens in. |
| Company | The business, its town and its distance from you. Your row is highlighted and marked You. A burst tag marks a sudden jump in reviews - watch whether it lasts. |
| Reviews · ★ | Lifetime Google reviews and star rating, as Google shows them. |
| This week | New reviews in the current review week (Saturday to Friday). Today's win shows up here. |
| 4 weeks · Per week | New reviews over the last four weeks, and the weekly average - your pace. |
| Growth score | 0-100 momentum: pace, growth against size, whether it is accelerating, and rating. Our measure of who is building fastest - not Google's ranking. |
| Page 1 · Website | Our grades of each business's website: Page 1 is the homepage, including load speed; Website is every page. A to F, scored out of 100. |
Click any column heading to sort; click again to reverse. Some listings are private and not named, but they are counted - every rank is your true rank.
| Google reviews | Your lifetime count and your position among every business in the market. |
| Rating · This week · Last 4 weeks | Your stars, what you added this week, and your four-week total with your weekly pace. |
| Growth score | Your momentum, and where it places you in the market. |
| Reviews over time | Your review count week by week - the line your daily wins build. |
| Website | Your Page 1 and whole-site grades, when each was checked, the full report of every issue, and the fixes that matter most. |
| Newest reviews | Your ten latest reviews, stars and words - the ones to reply to today. |
Once a month we send a report on your business. Page one is the whole story; the pages after it are the evidence.
| Section | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| What moved | The month in a few lines: your reviews against your nearest competitors, your map position, what changed. |
| Where you are - where you can be | Your pace against the market, the reviews each search takes to reach the top three, and the week you get there at your pace. |
| What it cost you | An estimate of the searches for your trade you were not shown for, and what those customers would cost as paid ads. |
| What to do | Three actions in order, each with the searches it opens. Fixable: your work moves it. Structural: distance decides it. |
| The map - before and after | One search measured from points all around your address - green is top three, amber is page one, red is not showing. Next month, the same map from the same spot is your after. |
| Reviews | The month's opening and closing count, net new, rating, your rank on new reviews, and your weekly gains against the market's leaders. |
| Terms | Every search for your trade: whether you hold the top three, who holds #1, and what stands in your way. |
| AI Visibility | Whether AI assistants name you when a customer asks who to call, and the questions competitors answer that you don't (section 7). |
| Competitors | The top ten in your market by reviews, what each added this month, and who advertises on Google. |
Anything not yet measured says so rather than guessing, and every estimate is labelled as one.
Reviews win the customer's trust; your website has to keep it. Page 1 grades the homepage most customers land on - including how fast it loads on a phone. Website grades every page. Open the report from Your company for each issue and how to fix it.
More customers now ask ChatGPT, or read Google's AI answer, before they ever scroll. AI Visibility checks whether those assistants name you when asked who to call, and whether your website answers the questions customers ask. Out of 100:
| Part | Points | What earns them |
|---|---|---|
| Named by AI | 35 | ChatGPT or Google's AI answer names you, or links your site |
| Questions answered | 25 | Your website answers the questions Google shows under "People also ask" |
| Structured data | 25 | Your site labels your business details, services and answers in the code assistants read |
| Answer boxes | 15 | You own Google's answer box, or hold the top three on the map |
This is another win you control: a questions-and-answers section in your own words, and the structured data that labels it. We give you both. AI answers change from one asking to the next, so every check is dated.
Review counts and ratings for every business are read at least weekly, and daily for active markets. Your own Google profile may run a review or two ahead between reads.
New reviews are counted on the day they were written. Google sometimes holds a review and publishes it days later with its original date, so a review can land on an earlier day's count. Nothing is lost - the daily counts and your total always reconcile.
Website grades and AI Visibility are checked about monthly; each shows its date.
